2015 Sydney Tange National Championship

The 2015 Tange National Championship was completed on Sunday with Western Australia defeating New South Wales 4-0 in the gold medal game. The Tange tournament is open to players 18 and under and is held between the state associations. This years tournament consisted of teams from the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia. All games were held at the Ice Arena in Adelaide and the tournament ran from 23 July to 26 July. Western Australia’s Jakob Ruck top scored for the tournament with 17 points and New South Wales’ Tyrone Mendoza-Kehlet finished as the top goaltender with a save percentage of 0.923.
