The Sydney Ice Dogs have announced the signing of Swedish 1st Division player Timothy Noting as a replacement goaltender for the 2014 AIHL season after Anthony Kimlin informed the club that he will not be returning in 2014 due to school commitments.
The club also announced the captain Robert Malloy has been granted an Australian permanent residency, freeing up one of the Ice Dogs import spots.
He’s playing Division 2 hockey in Sweden now, not Div 1. Div 2 is the 4th tier league in Sweden.
