Australian Men lose to Serbia

The Australian Men’s team have lost their final game of the 2014 IIHF World Championship Division II Group A tournament, losing to Serbia 0-1. Joshua Harding was named best Australian player of the game and Anthony Kimlin was named best Australian player of the tournament. Kimlin also finished with the best save percentage among the goalkeepers with 92.75 however missed out on the Best Goalkeeper Award. Following their loss the team dropped to fourth in the standings and were ten points behind Estonia who gained promotion to Division I Group B for 2015. In other games of the day Estonia beat Belgium 6-1 and Iceland defeated Israel 4-3 after a shootout.
