Round 9 of the 2014 AIHL season sees wins for the Melbourne Mustangs, Perth Thunder, Newcastle North Stars and CBR Brave. The Mustangs move to the top of the standings and are one point clear of the second placed Melbourne Ice. Next week consists of four games with the Ice, North Stars, Sydney Bears, CBR Brave and Sydney Ice Dogs in action.
