Round 18 of the 2014 AIHL season sees wins for the Melbourne Ice, Newcastle North Stars, Melbourne Mustangs, Sydney Ice Dogs, CBR Brave and Perth Thunder. The Mustangs remain on top of the standings, one points clear of the second place Brave. The Mustangs and Brave also are the first teams to qualify for the Goodall Cup playoffs, with both teams also making their debut appearance in the playoffs. Next week consists of seven games with only the Sydney Bears sitting out on a bye.
