Ice Hockey Australia (IHA) have announced that they will be holding tryouts for the national under-18 team in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney. The Perth tryout is to be held on 12 October at the Xtreme Ice Arena, the Melbourne event on 18 October at the Medibank Icehouse, and the Sydney tryout on 19 October at the Liverpool Catholic Club Ice Rink. Steven Lindsay has been appointed head coach for the third year in a row. The tryouts are being held in preparation for the 2015 IIHF U18 World Championships that will see Australia travel to Serbia to compete in the Division II Group B tournament against Belgium, China, Romania, Serbia and Spain.
