Australian inline team claims silver at World Championship Division I

The Australian national inline hockey team have lost to Croatia 4-5 in overtime in the final of the 2015 IIHF Inline World Championship Division I tournament. The loss means Australia takes home their second silver medal in two years and miss out on promotion to the IIHF Inline World Championship’s top division. Antony Collins was named best Australian player of the match while the Sydney Bears’ Cameron Todd was selected as the best defenceman of the tournament. In the other two games held yesterday Great Britain defeated Argentina 3-2 to claim bronze while Latvia lost 3-4 to Hungary, joining Austria and Bulgaria in relegation to the Qualification Round.
