Newcastle North Stars

  • The North Stars announced yesterday that Luke Moffatt has left the team in order to fullfil professional commitments in Italy. Moffatt has signed with HC Gherdëina of the Serie A league for the 2015-16 season.

Sydney Ice Dogs

  • The AIHL has charged the Ice Dogs for failing to meet their Away Game Obligations under By-Law 4 which requires travelling teams to field at least 15 players. The charge comes after the Ice Dogs second and third breach of the By-Law on the 25th and 26th of July games against the Perth Thunder. As a result the club has been fined $500 and the forfeiture of three competition points. For more information see the media release by the league.
