Australian U18 Women lose opener of 2015 Denmark Tour

The Australian women’s national under-18 team have lost their opening game of the 2015 Denmark Tour series against Denmark 2-12. The Australian’s trailed the Danes at the end of the first period with a score of 0-4. In the second period Denmark added three goals to their total with Australia getting one back with a goal from Natalie Ayris to finish the period 1-7. Australia’s Madison Poole scored the teams second goal in the third period however Denmark pilled on five more goals to finish the game 2-12.

The team is currently on the 2015 Denmark Tour which began on 25 July and included a training camp prior the the series of exhibition games. Game one of the series was held yesterday while game two is scheduled for today.
