Round 18 of the 2015 East Coast Super League has finished with the Newcastle North Stars defeating the Sting 7-3 in the only game of the round. The other match of the round between the Blueline Bombers and Reach Rebels had to be postponed due to a lack of officials and is expected to rescheduled. Despite not playing on the weekend the Rebels move back in to top position in on the standings, edging out the Sting on goal difference. Next week the Sting take on the Sydney Heat in Canterbury and the Penrith Raptors play the Bombers in Penrith.
Update: The game between the Bombers and the Rebels has been rescheduled to 31 August and will be played at the Sydney Ice Arena.
