Bears to host Ice in Brisbane double header

The Australian Ice Hockey League have announced that the Sydney Bears will host the Melbourne Ice in two games in Queensland during the 2016 regular season. The games will be held 14 and 15 May at Iceworld Boondall and Iceworld Acacia Ridge respectively. The games will be the first AIHL matches to be held in Queensland since the Gold Coast Blue Tongues were suspended by the league in 2012.
