Mustangs promote Flaherty to head coach

The Melbourne Mustangs have announced the promotion of Michael Flaherty to the head coach position for the upcoming 2016 season. Flaherty was an assistant coach to the recently departed Brad Vigon last season and has previous coaching experience in the AJIHL and as an assistant coach for the Finnish national inline hockey team. Assisting Flaherty will be Jon Moses and Damian Holland, both former representatives of the Australian national team.

Front Office changes will see Myles Harris take over the position of Vice President from Andrew McDowell as he steps down to focus on the position of Director of Hockey Operations. The Mustangs also announced the appointment of Hamish Jones to the position of Marketing Manager.
