Australian Women lose exhibition game against Spain

The Australian women’s national team have lost their exhibition game in Jaca 3-6 against the Spanish women’s national team. The team arrived in Jaca, Spain yesterday ahead of the 2016 IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s World Championship Division II Group B tournament which begins on 29 February. Prior to their arrival in Jaca the Australian team had been on a training camp in Prague, Czech Republic. Following the end of the exhibition game the two teams took part in a shootout which Spain won 4-2.
