- The Bears have announced the signing of Brian Funes for the upcoming 2016 season. Funes has spent the last four seasons playing for the Sydney Ice Dogs and was the team captain in 2015. He has also represented the Australian national team in 2013 and 2015. For more information see the announcement by the club.
