Australian U18 Men claim third win at World Championships

The Australian men’s national under-18 team have won their third game of the 2016 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship Division III Group A tournament, defeating Israel 4–3. Captain Ellesse Carini was named best Australia player of the match. In other games of the day Turkey defeated Mexico 4–1 and Bulgaria beat Chinese Taipei 9–3. After the end of the third round Australia remain on top of the standings, one point clear of second placed Turkey. Australia takes on Turkey today in their fourth game of the tournament.
