AIHL news: 10 April 2016

Schedule changes
The following changes are a result of the issues with the Adelaide Ice Arena:
– Newcastle North Stars – Perth Thunder at Perth Ice Arena. Originally scheduled for 17 July has been moved to 23 April.
– Newcastle North Stars – Adelaide Adrenaline at Adelaide Ice Arena. Originally scheduled for 23 April has been moved to 17 July.
– Perth Thunder – Adelaide Adrenaline double header at Adelaide Ice Arena. Originally scheduled for 30 April and 1 May has been moved to 21 May and 22 May.

CBR Brave
– The Brave have announced the signing of forward Neal Prokop for the 2016 season. Prokop last played for McGill University in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) system during the 2014-15 season where he scored eight points in 24 games. Prokop spent three seasons in the CIS and prior to that played six seasons in the Western Hockey League.

Sydney Ice Dogs
– The Ice Dogs have announced the signing of Andrew White for the upcoming 2016 season. White spent last season playing for the Adelaide Adrenaline where he recorded five points in 26 games. The 2016 season will be Whites eleventh season in the AIHL and tenth for the Ice Dogs. He is the second player to be picked up from the Adrenaline after Charlie Smart was signed last week.
