2016 AIHL season: Round 7

Round 7 of the 2016 Australian Ice Hockey League season has finished with wins for the Melbourne Ice, Melbourne Mustangs, Perth Thunder, Sydney Bears and Newcastle North Stars. The Ice remain on top of the standings, six points clear of the second placed Thunder. No games are scheduled for next week as the league will be holding the 2016 All-Star Weekend in Penrith.

Game #48 between the Melbourne Mustangs and Sydney Ice Dogs has been postponed due to flooding at the Liverpool Catholic Club Ice Rink. The league is expected to announce a new date and home rink for the game next week.
