Round 4 of the 2016-17 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League season has finished with the Sydney Sirens defeating the Melbourne Ice in both games at the Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink. The Sirens remain on top of the standings, seven points clear of the second placed Ice. Next week the Adelaide Rush travel to Queensland to take on the Brisbane Goannas in a double header at Iceworld Boondall.

In other news the Sydney Sirens Sharna Godfrey has been named the seasons first Skaters Network Player of the Month. Heading into Round 4 Godfrey is the leading goal scorer and sits third for total points with eight goals and two assists.
