The Australian men’s national under-20 team have won their second game of the 2018 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division III tournament, beating New Zealand 6–3. Forward Findlay Wood was named best Australian player of the match. In other games of the day Iceland defeated China 2–1 and Israel beat Bulgaria 4–3. After two rounds Australia have moved up the standings into second place, trailing the leaders Israel by one point. The teams have a rest day today before returning on Thursday where Australia take on Israel.
