The final round of the 2017-18 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League season has finished with the Brisbane Goannas and Melbourne Ice both picking up a win each in their double header. The regular season finishes with the Sydney Sirens in first place, six points ahead of the Melbourne Ice. The Brisbane Goannas finish in third, edging the Adelaide Rush with less goals against in games between the two teams. Competition resumes on 17 March with the playoffs being held at the O’Brien Group Arena. In the semifinals the Sirens will take on the Rush and the Ice will play the Goannas.
