The Ice have announced the signing of Sandy Gardner to the position of head coach for the remainder of the season. Gardner replaces Peter Ekroth who left the club at the end of May. Gardner previously held the position of head coach in 2013 and most recently was an assistant coach in 2017. He is joined by Mark Smith and Josh Velez who have also joined the coaching team as assistants. For more information see the announcement from the club.
The club have added City Mazda as a sponsor for 2018. The sponsorship will include re-branding the corporate area as the “Mazda Launch Pad”. For more information see the announcement from the club.
