The 2018 Phillip Ginsberg National Championship has finished with New South Wales defeating Victoria 6-5 in a shootout to claim the gold medal. It is the second Phillip Ginsberg title in a row for New South Wales having beat Victoria in the 2017 final. The tournament is open to players 13 and under and was held between the State Associations. This year’s tournament consisted of teams from the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia. All games were held at the O’Brien Group Arena and the tournament ran from 16 August to 19 August 2018.
