The Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League have released the schedule for the 2018-19 season. The season kicks off on 27 October and concludes with the finals on 9 and 10 March. Due to the addition of the Perth Inferno the regular season format has been altered. Each team will no longer play the other teams in a four games series. Instead, each team will play two of the four opponents in a four-game series with the other two teams being played twice during the season. Another change is the increase in game time which sees the length of the games increased to the full sixty minutes. Games were previously 54 minutes in length (17 minutes in the first two periods and 20 minutes in the last).
