2019 U18 Women’s World Championship: Kazakhstan beat Australia

The Australian women’s national under-18 team have lost to Kazakhstan 1–5 in their second game of the 2019 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division I Group B Qualification tournament. Forward Marnie Pullin was named the best Australian player of the match. At the end of the preliminary round Australia remain in second place in Group A, trailing Kazakhstan by three points. The competition now moves to the playoff phase with Australia taking on South Korea in the first semifinal.
