2019 U18 Women’s World Championship: South Korea beat Australia

The Australian women’s national under-18 team have lost to South Korea 2-5 in their semifinal of the 2019 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division I Group B Qualification tournament. Defenceman Isabela Raymundo was named best Australian player of the match. Australia will now advance to the bronze medal match against Chinese Taipei who lost their semifinal to Kazakhstan 1-3. In the other game of the day Turkey beat Mexico 1-0 in the 5th-7th placement. Turkey now advances to play Spain for 5th place while Mexico finish the tournament in last place.
