Adelaide Avalanche sign Mantere as head coach

The Adelaide Avalanche have announced the signing of Sami Mantere to the position of head coach. Mantere was previously the head coach of the Adelaide Adrenaline during the 2017 AIHL season. The following year he moved into an assistant coaching position with the club before being re-signed as head coach in October 2019 ahead of the to-be cancelled 2020 AIHL season. Mantere’s record as head coach for the Adrenaline is seven wins from 28 games.
