The CBR Brave have announced the signing of American defenceman Garret Cockerill for the remainder of the 2022 AIHL season. Cockerill joins the team after playing the 2021-22 season with the Reading Royals of the ECHL where he recorded 23 points from 41 games. He has been playing in the ECHL since 2017 and previously played in the American Hockey League during the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons.
