Canberra Brave have defeated the Melbourne Mustangs 5–4 in their semifinal game of the 2026 Goodall Cup playoffs. Canberra had qualified for the match after defeating the Sydney Bears in yesterday’s preliminary round, and the Melbourne Mustangs had qualified after finishing the regular season in second place. Canberra now advances to tomorrow’s Goodall Cup final where they will take the Newcastle Northstars who had earlier progressed following their win over the Sydney Ice Dogs in the other semifinal.
