Round 6 of the 2018 East Coast Super League season has finished with wins for the Nudo Bombers and Sydney Sting. The Sting remain on top of the standings, six points clear of the second placed Raptors. Next week the Sting host the Bombers and the Penrith Raptors take on the Reach Rebels.

2018 ECSL season: Round 1

Round 1 of the 2018 East Coast Super League season has finished with wins for the Nudo Bombers, Sydney Sting and Newcastle North Stars. The North Stars finish the first round on top of the standings, equal on point with the Sting and Bombers. Competition resumes on 7 April with the North Stars hosting the Sting and the Rebels take on the Raptors in Canterbury.

In a change during the off-season the Blueline Bombers have been renamed the Nudo Bombers following a sponsorship change. The club however has yet to make an official announcement.

2018 ECSL Draft

The league has completed their 2018 Draft with 21 players picked up across four teams. The Blueline Bombers picked up the most with seven players, the Sydney Sting and Reach Rebels picked up five each and the Penrith Raptors four. For the results of the draft see the announcement by the league

In other news the ECSL reiterated their plans on expanding into Canberra however it is still unclear when this will happen.

2017 ECSL playoffs: Grand Finals

The Sydney Sting have won the 2017 East Coast Super League playoffs, defeating the Reach Rebels in two games. The Sting defeated the Rebels 6-1 and 9-2 in Games 1 and 2 respectively to win the best-of-three series. The win gives the Sting their fourth ECSL Championship title, the most by any club.

2017 ECSL playoffs: Semifinals

The semifinals of the 2017 East Coast Super League playoffs have finished with the Sydney Sting and Reach Rebels advancing to the grand final series which kick off next weekend. The semifinals are a two game series with the winner being determined on a cumulative aggregate format. In Semifinal A the Sydney Sting won both of their games to defeat the Newcastle North Stars 16-3 on aggregate. In Semifinal B the Reach Rebels and Penrith Raptors split the series at one apiece, with the Rebels advancing 4-3 on aggregate.

2017 ECSL season: Round 24

The final round of the 2017 East Coast Super League has finished with wins for the Newcastle North Stars and Reach Rebels. The Sting finish the season at the top of the standings, eight points clear of the second placed Raptors. Next week the 2017 ECSL playoffs get underway with the best-of-two game semifinals. The first placed Sting take on the fourth placed North Stars while the second placed Raptors play the third placed Rebels.
