Fuyarchuk leaves the Adrenaline

Jim Fuyarchuk has announced his resignation as head coach of the Adelaide Adrenaline after two seasons. Fuyarchuk joined the Adrenaline in 2018 and finishes with a record of five wins from 56 games, the club finishing both regular seasons in last place. Macquarie Ice rink spared demolition

AMP Capital have announced that they will no longer go ahead with the planned demolition of the Macquarie Ice Rink. Community consultation instead led to AMP Capital announcing that any future development to Macquarie Centre will include an Olympic-sized ice rink. Macquarie Ice Rink demolition on hold

The application to demolish the Macquarie Ice Rink in 2020 has been put on hold following community reaction. AMP Capital, the owners of the Macquarie Centre where the rink is located, will now seek consultation from the community and stakeholders before coming to a final decision. Macquarie Ice Rink scheduled for demolition in 2020

It has been announced that the Macquarie Ice Rink, home of the Sydney Bears and Sydney Ice Dogs, will be demolished in 2020. The planned demolition will however have no impact on the 2019 AIHL season with both clubs playing their full home schedule out of Macquarie. No announcement has yet been made on where the two clubs will be based for the 2020 season.
