Melbourne Mustangs
– The Mustangs have announced the signing of Canadian defenceman Charles-Olivier Roussel for the upcoming 2018 season. Roussell has spent the 2017-18 season playing for Anglet Hormadi Élite in the French Division 1 and Thetford Assurancia in the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey. Roussel was drafted by the Nashville Predators in the second round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, however only managed game time in the American Hockey League and ECHL. Perth Thunder
– The Thunder have announced the signing Canadian forward Christian Ouellet for the 2017 season. Ouellet spent the 2016-17 season playing for Jonquière Marquis of the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey where he finished 53 points from 39 regular season games. Prior to joining Jonquière Ouellet spent three seasons in the ECHL and a season in the Ligue Magnus. For more information see the announcement from the club.

Melbourne Ice
– The Ice have announced the return of forward Jeremy Brown for the upcoming season. Brown last played for the Ice in 2015, scoring 20 points in 17 games. During the 2015-16 season Brown played for the Chambly Forts and Granby Inouk of the Quebec Junior Hockey League before signing with the Windsor Wild of the Ligue Hockey Senior A Mauricienne for 2016-17.

Perth Thunder
– The Thunder have announced the re-signing of Benjamin Breault for the 2017 season. Breault recorded 52 points, including 26 goals for the team last season and has been playing for Saint-Georges Cool FM 103.5 in the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey during the AIHL’s off-season. CBR Brave
– The Brave have announced the signing of Mathieu Guertin for the 2016 season. Guertin has spent the last two seasons playing for Trois-Rivières Blizzard of the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey. He also previoulsy played in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, the Alberta Junior Hockey League and the Canadian Interuniversity Sport system. Perth Thunder
The Perth Thunder will live broadcast their home games for the 2016 season via the Mixlr platform. The commentary team will be made up of Jordan Scardetta, Luke Worthington, Rick Hotzak and Chris McRae. For more information see the announcement from the club

Sydney Bears
The Bears have reached a deal that will see at least two of the teams home games broadcast on Hawkesbury Radio 89.9fm. The games which will be broadcast have yet to be confirmed. The Bears will also continue to broadcast their games on their normal Mixlr stream.

CBR Brave
– The Brave have announced the re-signing of Stephen Blunden for the upcoming 2016 season. Blunden first joined the Brave for the 2014 season and has played in a total of 50 games, scoring 151 points. During the AIHL off-season Blunden has been playing in the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey for the Rivière-du-Loup 3L and the Cornwall River Kings.

Sydney Bears
– The Bears have announced that they formed a partnership with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) ice hockey team, the Army Knights for the 2016 season. The Army Knights are part of the ADF Ice Hockey Association and is made up of representatives from the Army, Air Force and Navy. The purpose of the partnership is to help promote ice hockey within the ADF as well as develop emerging talent. The Bears are also offering 50% off tickets for ADF members for the season. Brave sign Mariani

The CBR Brave have announced the signing of Kyle Mariani for the upcoming 2015 season. Mariani is currently playing for the Laval Prédateurs of the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey and previously played in the CHL, the Swedish Division 1, EIHL and the Polska Liga Hokejowa
