Ice Hockey Australia have released the roster of the Australian men’s under-20 national team for the upcoming 2020 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division III tournament. The competition will take place from 13 to 19 January 2020 in Sofia, Bulgaria with Australia competing against Bulgaria, Chinese Taipei, Iceland, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa and Turkey.
Forward Nathaniel Benson has left the Adelaide Adrenaline to begin his 2019-20 season in Nova Scotia, Canada. Benson played 19 games for the club this season, recording three goals and three assists. For more information see the announcement from the club.
– The Adrenaline have announced the signing of rookie forward Brad Chenoweth for the upcoming season. Chenoweth spent the 2017-18 season playing for the Adelaide Generals of the Australian Junior Ice Hockey League where he recorded 23 points in 16 games.
– The club also announced the re-signing of Nathaniel Benson and Ryan Foll. Benson debuted in 2017, playing in one game while Foll will return for his fourth season with the club.
