Nathan Walker has signed a two year two-way contract with the St. Louis Blues ahead of the 2019-20 season. In the 2018-19 season Walker played 67 games for the Hershey Bears in the American Hockey League, picking up 44 points, and three games for the Washington Capitals in the National Hockey League, picking up one point.

Nathan Walker made his NHL debut today for the Washington Capitals, becoming the first Australian to play in an NHL game. Walker also scored his first goal with a deflection of a shot from Devante Smith-Pelly. For more information on his debut see the article by Bernard McNamara.
Nathan Walker has been reassigned from the Hershey Bears to the South Carolina Stingrays. The Stingrays who play in the ECHL are an affiliate of both the Washington Capitals and the Hershey Bears.

Nathan Walker has been drafted by the Washington Capitals in the third round (89th overall) in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Welsh born Walker, who has spent the last season playing for the Hershey Bears, is the first Australian player to be drafted in the NHL
