2016 Sydney Tange National Championship

The 2016 Sydney Tange National Championship has finished with New South Wales defeating the Australian Capital Territory 4-1 in the gold medal game. The Sydney Tange tournament is open to players 18 and under and is held between the state associations. This year’s tournament consisted of teams from the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia. All games were held at the Cockburn Ice Arena and the tournament ran from 6 July to 8 July. The ACT’s Jordon Brunt finished as the leading scorer with 13 points and Dale Tilsted of New South Wales finished as the leading goaltender with a save percentage of 0.941.
