Australians overseas: Zachary Okabe

Forward Zachary Okabe recently completed his first season with St. Cloud State University. Playing in the NCAA’s National Collegiate Hockey Conference he finished the 2019-20 season with nine points from 30 games. Prior to joining St. Cloud Okabe had spent the last three seasons playing junior A hockey. His first season was in 2016-17 with brief one game sting for the Victoria Grizzlies of the British Columbia Hockey League. The following season he signed with the Grande Prairie Storm of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. From 2017 to 2019 he played in 131 games for the Storm and recorded 123 points.
