Goaltender Sebastian Woodlands recently completed his first season with the Detroit Fighting Irish. Playing in the United States Premier Hockey League’s Premier Division he finished the 2019-20 season with a 0.870 save percentage and 6.57 goals against average from 21 games. Woodlands joined the Fighting Irish after two seasons with the A21 Academy in Windsor, Ontario.
Locally Woodlands is representative of the Australian under-20 national team having first joined the team in 2018. He is also a member of the AIHL’s Adelaide Adrenaline, dressing as a backup for the club in 2019. In the national championships Woodlands has represented South Australia on multiple occasions in the Ginsberg, Defris and Tange tournaments.
