The East Coast Super League have announced their decision on the two games which were cancelled on 19 September due to problems with the ice at Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink. The first game between the Newcastle North Stars ECSL and Sydney Sting has been awarded as a 5-1 win for the North Stars. The two teams managed to play two periods with the North Stars leading 5-1 going into the second intermission before the game was abandoned. The second game between the Polyflor Raptors and Stealth Bombers, which was abandoned without a minute being played, has been declared a 0-0 draw.
