The Newcastle Northstars have defeated the Sydney Ice Dogs 3-1 in game six of the 2021 McCormack Cup. After six games the CBR Brave remain at the top of the standings, three points clear of the second placed Northstars. Competition resumes on 5 June with the Brave hosting the Ice Dogs at the Phillip Ice Skating Centre.
