Australian born defenceman Jordan Spence made his debut in the National Hockey League yesterday with the Los Angeles Kings. Spence was drafted by the Kings in the fourth round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft while playing for the Moncton Wildcats in the Québec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). After three seasons in the QMJHL Spence joined the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League for the start of the 2021-22 season. He played in 46 games for the Reign before being called up to the Kings for his debut game against the San Jose Sharks.
