The Pacific Hockey League (PHL) have announced their playoff format for the 2022 season. At the end of the regular season the top three teams will qualify for the playoffs. The first placed team will advance straight to the three-game final series while the second and third placed teams will play a single-game elimination match to advance. The elimination game is scheduled to be held on 6 August and the finals series will be held in Melbourne on the following weekend. The winner of the 2022 finals will be awarded the Nathan Walker Cup.
