The final day of the 2022 Jim Brown National Championship has finished with Western Australia defeating New South Wales 5–1 to claim the gold medal. Western Australia had advanced to the gold medal game following their semifinal win against Victoria yesterday while New South Wales had qualified after defeating Queensland in their semifinal and then Victoria in the preliminary final. In the bronze medal game Victoria defeated Queensland 7–1.
Victoria’s Josh Walt and Western Australia’s Kieren Webster finished as the tournaments top scorers with ten points each from their five games. Western Australia’s Dillon Dewar led in the goaltending statistics with a 0.941 save percentage and a 1.00 goals against average.
