Continuing our look at the Australian players who were competing overseas during the 2022–23 season. Today features Australians in the Czech Republic.
Kale Costa: After spending the off-season with The Coast in the Pacific Hockey League Costa returned to the Czech Republic for his eighth season. Playing for HC Slovan Ústí nad Labem in the 2. liga he competed in 47 games, recording 20 goals and 27 assists. On 1 May 2023 Costa signed a try-out contract with HC Stadion Litoměřice of the 1. liga ahead of the 2023–24 season.
Adriana Herink: First season in the Czech Republic. Playing for HC Děčín on their under-15 team in the Extraliga 9. trid Herink recorded six penalty minutes from 14 games.
Daniel Koudelka: After spending the off-season representing South Australia at the 2022 Sydney Tange National Championship Koudelka joined HC Kobra Praha for his first season. Playing on their under-17 team in the Liga dorostu Koudelka scored a goal and three assists in his 23 games.
