Ice Hockey Queensland have appointed Ivan Rapchuk to the position of head coach for the Queensland state team ahead of the upcoming 2023 Jim Brown National Championship. He replaces Matthew Meyer who held the position at the 2022 tournament. Rapchuk is currently an assistant coach of the AIHL’s Brisbane Lightning and served as the head coach of the Queensland state 15 & under team and Queensland state 18 & under team in 2022.
