The Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) have announced the appointment of Bob Turner to their board of directors. As part of the role, he will also take on the position of Director of Commercials. Turner is currently the chairman of Blacktown City FC and a former chairman of the Sydney Blue Sox. In 2000 he was inducted into the Australian Basketball Hall of Fame for his contribution to coaching in the National Basketball League.
