The Sydney Bears have announced the re-signing of defender Brian Funes for the upcoming 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Funes played 25 games for the Bears in 2023, scoring two goals and four assists. Since making his league debut in 2011 he has competed in 286 AIHL games and recorded 88 points.
