The Adelaide Adrenaline have appointed Kaden Elder to the position of head coach, replacing Stu Henly who had been in the role since February 2023. Elder, who will now serve as a player-coach for the remainder of the season, picked up two wins this weekend with the Adrenaline defeating the Central Coast Rhinos at the at Ice Arena Adelaide.
Henly departs the club with a record of five wins from 37 games. In his debut 2023 season the Adrenaline finished fourth in the Rurak Conference and failed to qualify for the playoffs. At the time of his departure during the 2024 season the Adrenaline were sitting in last place on the Rurak Conference standings. They have since moved up to fourth place following this weekend’s wins under Elder.
