The Melbourne Mustangs have removed defenceman Michael McMahon and forward Jesse Thompson from their roster. The two players had been on the club’s active roster since the start of the season, but both had yet to start in a game in 2024. McMahon was in his sixth season with the Mustangs having competed in 121 games since making his debut in 2016. Thompson was in his third season for the Mustangs having made his debut in 2022 and has competed in a total of 22 games.
