The final day of the 2024 Kurt Defris National Championship has finished with New South Wales defeating South Australia 4–2 to claim the gold medal. New South Wales had advanced to the gold medal game following their semifinal win against Victoria yesterday while South Australia had qualified after defeating Western Australia in their semifinal. In the bronze medal game Western Australia defeated Victoria 3–0.
New South Wales’ Hugo Arps finished as the tournament’s top scorer with 44 points from seven games. New South Wales also led in goaltending with Louie Meagher posting a 0.949 save percentage and a 0.58 goals against average.
