Australians overseas 2023–24: Switzerland

Continuing our look at the Australian players who were competing overseas during the 2023–24 season. Today features Australians in Switzerland.

Julian Friederich (U20-Top statistics): Second season with Forward-Morges. Playing on their under-20 team in the U20-Top, Friederich recorded seven goals and eight assists in 17 regular season games. During the relegation playoffs, Friederich competed in a further eight games, recording two goals and six assists. Forward-Morges went on to finish fourth in the relegation playoffs and survive demotion to the U20-A.

Henry Wenk (3. Liga statistics): First season in Switzerland. Playing for CdH La Plaiv in the 3. Liga, Wenk recorded a goal and two assists in his eight games. La Plaiv went on to finish last in the East Region’s Group 2 with 14 losses from 14 games.
