Continuing our look at the Australian players who were competing overseas during the 2023–24 season. Today is Part 7 of 9 featuring Australians in the United States.

Hayden Plimley: First season with Hebron Academy after spending the last three with Westchester Express. Playing in the United States High School’s Preparatory system, Plimley finished the season with a save percentage of 0.886.

Nick Ponomarev (USPHL profile): First season with the South Shore Kings after spending 2022–23 with the 95 Giants. Playing in the United States Premier Hockey League’s (USPHL) Premier division, Ponomarev recorded four goals and four assists from 38 games.

Sacha Rapchuk (USPHL profile): First season with the Atlanta Mad Hatters after spending 2022–23 with the San Diego Sabers. Playing in the United States Premier Hockey League’s Premier division, Rapchuk competed in twenty games, recording four goals and four assists.

Gustav Remler-Jensen (UT1HL statistics): First season in the United States after spending 2022–23 in Denmark. Playing for Seacoast Performance Academy’s 16U American team in the United Tier 1 Hockey League’s (UT1HL) 16U division, Remler-Jensen recorded twelve goals and two assists from 13 games. With Seacoast, he also competed in 48 games of 16U AAA independent competition, recording 44 points, and four games in the 16U division of the Elite Prospects Cup Series, recording two points.

Mikko Rippon (MPHL profile): First season in the United States where Rippon joined St Francis High School to compete in the Midwest Prep Hockey League (MPHL) and the United States High School’s Preparatory system (USHS-Prep). In the MPHL he recorded two goals and six assists from 14 games and in the USHS-Prep he scored four goals and twelve assists in 37 games.
